Artist bios:

Gabrielle Bell has contributed to The New Yorker, The Paris Review, McSweeneys, The Believer, and Vice Magazine. Her first full-length graphic memoir, Everything is Flammable, was named one of the best graphic novels of 2017 by Entertainment Weekly, Paste Magazine, and Publisher’s Weekly. Her most recent work, Career Shoplifter, is a collection of comics about and drawings of New York City cafe life. Aubrey Nolan is a cartoonist and illustrator based in Brooklyn, New York. She is currently writing and drawing her first full-length graphic novel, Listen Along with Izzy McKenna, forthcoming from Rocky Pond / Penguin Teen. Her comics and illustrations have been featured in The New York Times, The New Yorker, The Washington Post, The New York Review of Books, and more. She was a contributor to Votes for Women, a comics anthology about the fight for women’s suffrage, and the humor anthology, Send Help!, and has led comics workshops and talks at several universities and nonprofit organizations, including Congresswoman AOC’s Homework Helpers program.    aubreynolan.net   Instagram: @itsaubreynotaudrey

Gianna Paniagua is a two-time heart transplant recipient of 30+ years, papercutting sculptor, and graphic medicine artist who is from and based in NYC. She utilizes her lifetime of experiences in medicine to create artwork about the dualities of the human body, as well as comics that ask questions about the chronic illness patient experience.
