BIOS
Julia Alekseyeva is the author-illustrator of the non-fiction graphic novel Soviet Daughter: A Graphic Revolution, published by Microcosm in January 2017. She also received press for illustrating the first graphic novel legal brief, written by Bob Kohn. Her work has been featured in The Paper Brigade, NPR, The Rumpus, Tablet, and Cleaver Magazine. Alongside her comics work, Julia teaches Cinema Studies at Brooklyn College, and is receiving a PhD in Comparative Literature from Harvard. She lives in Brooklyn with her partner Brandon and a dog named Leopold Bloom.

Jennifer Camper is a cartoonist and graphic artist. Her books include “Rude Girls and Dangerous Women” and “subGURLZ”, and she edited two “Juicy Mother” comics anthologies. Her work appears in numerous publications, comic books, and anthologies, and has been exhibited internationally. She is also the founding director of the biennial Queers & Comics Conference. https://jennifercamper.com

Teva Harrison is an artist, writer and cartoonist.  She is the author of the bestselling, critically-acclaimed hybrid graphic memoir, In-Between Days, published by House of Anansi Press. In-Between Days  won the 2017 KOBO Emerging Writer Prize, and was shortlisted for the Governor General’s Literary Award for Non-Fiction. Teva Harrison has been nominated for a National Magazine Award, Canadian Magazine Award and a 2017 Joe Shuster Award for best Cartoonist. In-Between Days was named a best book of the year by The Globe and Mail, The National Post, CBC, iBooks, KOBO, Walrus Magazine and The Quill and Quire. Numerous health organizations have invited her to speak publicly on behalf of the metastatic cancer community. Kevin Sacco is a cartoonist and storyboard illustrator living on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. He published his First Graphic Novel, The Plane Story about his father and the advertising business in 2011.
